Louisiana Purchase Spring Camporee

Location: Camp Attakapas

Friday, April 11th - Sunday, April 13th

Cost:$15 per Scout which includes a patch.  Adults are free.  Extra patches are $3.00 each.

Is your Troop looking to get Back to the Basics??? Camp Attakapas and the Attakapas District is hosting a Spring Camporee.  Activities will include Knot Tying, First Aid, Fire Starting, Scout Trivia, Tent set up and take down.  We also will have a Catapult Building and Launch Competition.

The Catapult design will be provided to the units before the event.  Troops will need to bring the supplies required to build the catapult.

Iron Chef Lunch Preparation Challange:

Each unit will receive the name of the secret ingredient and rules prior to the Camporee. (Each Troop will have a team and that team will cook lunch for their Troop only)  Lets see who can make the best dish with the secret ingredient!!!

Each Troop will also be responsible for their own meals for the weekend and will provide their Iron Chef team's ingredients.
