God and Country Awards Weekend is an intense weekend of study, worship, service projects, and lots of fellowship at Wesley Center in Woodworth, Louisiana. The weekend is planned around the Bishops Confirmation Day with those who are going to be confirmed into the United Methodist Church, to allow others to experience the event and fellowship.

The instructors or councilors are clergy for each class (a minimum of one clergy per class) with an adult lay person to assist. In addition to the students, Adult Mentors (Lay persons) can earn their awards along side the students.
