Fall Adventures in Cub Scouting

For those who are new to Scouting; Fall Adventures in Cub Scout is an event for the whole family!

 

OH NO !!! Its A Zombie Apocalypse !!!  Do you know how to survive????

 

We have an Exciting weekend planned for you and your family!  We are going to help prepare you for surviving a Zombie Apocalypse....and Other Emergencies.  We will be having fun while learning about emergency preparedness and survival skills.  However, that's not all we will be doing; there will also be Sling Shots, BB Guns, Archery and the Climbing Wall just to name a few.  So come out an join us for a weekend filled with fun and learning!!!

Fall Adventures will be held at Cub World in Camp T. L. James.  The camp will be open to begin campsite set up on Friday, September 30th at 3:30 p.m. (NO EARLIER) Check in will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the pavilion in Cub World.

The cost for the first registered Cub Scout is  $50 (includes 1 t-shirt and 1 patch). In order to receive the t-shirt that comes with this registration, you must be registered and paid by Thursday, September 22nd, 2022. Registration will then remain open through end of day Thursday, September 29th, but will not include a t-shirt. 

Each additional Scout or participating sibling attending camp is just $10 and will include 1 patch per registered youth. Age guidelines for siblings will be equivalent to the rules for Scouts of that age. (For example, any siblings in Kindergarten will follow the activity guidelines of our Lion Cubs).

Additional t-shirts may be purchased for $12 (Y-S through A-XL) and $15 (Adult 2XL and 3XL) and can be order through Thursday, September 22nd. Additional patches can be purchased for $4 apiece through Thursday, September 22nd.

Saturday check in will begin at 7:00 a.m. and the opening ceremony is at 8:30 (at the flagpole by the tree houses) with activities beginning at 9:00.  T-shirts will be available for pick up at the trading post (in the Rain Forest Pavilion) after the opening ceremony.

NO FOOD WILL BE PROVIDED.  Please plan accordingly.  A small concession stand with snacks/drinks/and Scouting gear will be available during the day on Saturday.

All parents  should familiarize themselves with the Guide to Safe Scouting for rules and safety requirements for all camp outs; as well as our Camp Rules.  Please remember absolutely no pets, smoking, alcohol or open-toed shoes allowed on Camp property.

Please be sure to check your email for information regarding any changes to the event due to state regulation changes, etc.
