The Baloo training at Camp T.L. James on

The BSA National Policy requires that there be a BALOO certified adult present at any pack organized campouts. This training will certify you! BALOO training introduces parents and leaders to the skills needed to plan and conduct pack outdoor activities, particularly pack camping; BALOO training includes ideas for outdoor activities, games and ceremonies; information on selecting and using camp equipment, how to run a campfire program, and Cub Scout cooking. This training is available for leaders, parents, or committee members.

We will be camping Friday night in the Wood Badge Field.  Supper Friday night and Breakfast Saturday morning will be provided. Participants will have to provide their own lunch on Saturday.  Attire will be Class A uniforms for opening and closing ceremony - bring something comfortable to wear during the day if desired (Class B). If someone doesn't have a Class A uniform they can still participate.

Social distancing and masks will be required for all participants.  We will also be performing temperature checks and you must turn in the camp waiver form.

You can start arriving at 4:00 p.m. on Friday night.  Check in starts at 8:00 a.m and training will last until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bring one 1/2 inch binder and a writing utensil. The training will be held at Camp T.L. James.
